So we are a full week into fall and one week into our Shifting Leaves Knit-a-long. A few projects have been started but no finishes quite yet. However there is still lots of time to join the KAL, you only have to be finished by December 2nd. Pop on by ravelry to find out more and come and join.
Fall is in full swing up here in Rosseau and the Village goes absolutely crazy for fall (more on that tomorrow). Our colour is going to peak in the next day or two and the leaves are starting to fall. But I must confess one of my favourite fall activities is shuffling my feet through the crunchy leaves on the ground.
We are all struck by the beauty of the brightly coloured leaves clinging to the tree branches in the fall winds, but what about them once they have passed their peak and drifted to the ground. Their is a beauty to those crisp brown piles and a whole lot of fun jumping in them. So for my fall KAL project I decided to work on a new sweater designer, the Fallen Leaves Pullover. I am almost through the body and expect to have it being tested and photographed and published before too long. Here is a photo of it so far... so what do your fall knitting plans include?
